Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Historical Society, 17 Church Road, will present “The Nine Named Hills of Shrewsbury” by Bill Davis Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. This is an interesting and entertaining look at nine hills in town that are greater than 500 feet above sea level, plus the people and events that are associated with each hill.
A resident of Shrewsbury for over 60 years and long-time member of the Shrewsbury Historical Society, Davis has an appreciation of the history of the town he calls home. For over a decade, he has participated in the third-grade tours of the Society’s museum and in recent years provided entertaining historical talks for the Shrewsbury Men’s Club and other organizations.
The program is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
