Angelina T. ViscomiShrewsbury – Angelina T. (Marrone) Viscomi age 90 of Shrewsbury died peacefully on Sunday November 3rd, 2019 with members of her family by her side. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Messina) Marrone. She was the loving wife of 70 years to Anthony “Tony” Viscomi of Shrewsbury.

Angelina, or “Angie” to her friends and family, was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and special friend to those who knew her. Angie was devoted to her husband and her 3 sons. As Tony worked nights, Angie was the primary guiding force in raising her sons. As a religious woman, Angie taught them about the importance of family, honesty, faith, and hard work. Cooking and baking were Angie’s passion. It didn’t matter what it was, Angie was a master baker – much to the joy of her family. When she cooked meals for 5 she made enough for 10 – just in case someone dropped by! All were welcome!

As her children married and had families of their own, Grandma became friend and confidant to her grandchildren. Her love of life, family and faith has continued on. Angelina is survived by her children: Ralph and his wife Camille, Joseph and his wife Maria, Michael and his wife Ann as well as 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Jessica, Marissa, Alicia, Brendan, and Lindsey and 7 great- grandchildren, Hunter, Marley Ann, Cade, Roeland, Logan, Raeya and Landon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Wednesday, November 6 th , 2019 at the Chiampa Funeral Home ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Rd, Shrewsbury Center from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hill’s Catholic Church, 640 Main St., Boylston will be Thursday, November 7th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Brain Tumor Association in Angelina’s name.
