Marlborough – This November, members of the Marlborough Police Department are once again putting down their razors and growing their best beards, all for a great cause. Officers in the department will be participating in the fundraiser, “No Shave November,” to benefit Cops for Kids with Cancer. The nonprofit organization provides funds for families who have kids that are being treated for cancer, helping them with things such as transportation, rent and hotels.
Officers who donate a minimum of $100 will be allowed to grow their beards out for the entire month. To donate to the department’s efforts, visit copsforkidswithcancer.org/no-shave-november-2019.
