Lourie refers all questions regarding police shooting to DA’s office 

Westborough Police Chief thanks communityWestborough – Police Chief Jeffrey Lourie released a statement on Facebook this morning  in regards to the domestic violence incident that occurred at the Windsor Ridge complex Nov. 15. According to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr., when police responded, the incident was still continuing. One person was then killed after being shot by police. The victim of the domestic violence incident was taken to the hospital. No other details have been released by the DA’s office as of yet.

“The Westborough Police Department is truly humbled by the outpouring of support we have received following the domestic violence incident on Friday. WPD will release a detailed statement at the conclusion of the investigation being conducted by Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to The Office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. All questions from the media should be directed to his office. I am honored to serve alongside and lead the men and women of the Westborough Police Department.
