Northborough family to host ‘Gonk Knocks’ charity event

Marlborough – Northborough resident Andrew Roberts and his father Ken, along with the Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) Football Boosters, are hosting the “Gonk Knocks” charity fundraiser at Apex Entertainment in Marlborough on Monday, Nov. 25 from 6:30 -10 p.m. Proceeds will go to both the ARHS Football Boosters and the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.

“Gonk Knocks” chronicles the ARHS football team during training camp. It was produced by ARHS sophomore and Flutie Foundation Fellow, Andrew Roberts. This series will be playing on the big screens during the event.

Mike “Sarge” Riley of 98.5 The Sports Hub will be emceeing this event. Tickets will include food, bowling, pool, and 30-minute arcade game cards. There will also be raffle and auction items, many of which were donated by local businesses.
