Arthur E. MillerNorth Brunswick – Arthur E. Miller passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ. He was 94 years old.

Born in Marlborough, MA, he was raised in Hudson, MA where he and his family attended St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Following High School, he enrolled at MIT, graduating in 1945 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Over the years he did research and taught at such places as Livermore Labs in California, Yale, U.C. Berkeley, and Princeton. He also continued his academic studies, receiving a Master’s Degree in Physics from U.C. Berkeley in 1961. His decades as a staff member at Princeton included translating Russian scientific documents during the Cold War and working in the Plasma Physics Laboratory.

After retirement, he lived in Kendall Park and North Brunswick, NJ.

Arthur was predeceased by his brothers Victor, Sotir, and William.  He never married, so invested himself in the lives of his extended family, especially his brothers’ children and grandchildren.  He faithfully sent them a gift every year on their birthday, always a highlight of their presents.  He was the family genealogist, not just researching his Albanian heritage, but visiting and networking with the living family members and their families as no other member of the clan did.  He will be missed.

He is survived by his nephews David Miller of Petaluma, CA, Stephen Miller of Kaneohe, HI, and Greg Miller of Marietta, GA, and nieces Victoria Miller Moog of Pleasanton, CA, Donna Miller Fisher of Ocala, FL, and Susan Miller of Miami, FL.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Hudson, MA, followed by committal in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 5 Washington St., Hudson, MA 01749.
