Shrewsbury celebrates start of holidays with Yuletide Market

The Common is a winter wonderland.

Shrewsbury – It may have been chilly, but that didn’t keep the crowd away from Shrewsbury’s first Yuletide Market.  Young and old enjoyed strolling through the vendor area where everything from chili to mulled wine to craft beer was for sale.  Warm hats for sale from SELCO were a perfect match for the weather.

The large trees lining the Town Common were wrapped in lights and turned on as the crowd gathered for a ceremonial throwing of the switch to light up the Common.
