Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Patrol Officers – Union NEPBA Local 191 had a beautiful but chilly day on Dec. 7 when they held their annual “Fill the Wagon” event at the Shrewsbury Police Department headquarters. The department collected new, unwrapped toys and gift cards to benefit Saint Anne’s Human Services.

“This is hands down the best turn-out that we’ve had,” noted Patrolman Christopher Abbascia. “The community has just been terrific.”

The wagon was filled to the brim as were two police cruisers, several large cardboard boxes and bicycles.
