Susan M. RenaudWest Yarmouth – Susan M. (Goulet) Renaud, 63 of West Yarmouth, formerly of Sutton and Grafton, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019, with the ones she loved gathered at her bedside after a sudden illness.

Susan is survived by the family she cherished. Her devoted husband of 41 years and “love of her life” Thomas H Renaud;  her two children, Eric A. Renaud and his wife Sarah of Sutton, and Alissa R. Renaud of West Yarmouth; a sister, Deborah A. Wilson of Sutton; three grandchildren she adored and enjoyed so much joy with, Tori R., Miles T. and Norah J. Renaud; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins , extended family members and many friends.  Her mother, Margaret (Legor) Goulet passed away October 22, 2019.

She was born in Worcester; her father was the late Arthur R. Goulet.  Susan graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School, married Tom in 1978 and lived 21 years in Grafton and 19 years in Sutton before moving to their home in West Yarmouth this past summer.

Susan cared for her family all her life and found time to co-found and support Tom in the establishment and operation of Renaud Electric and Communications.  She also owned and operated a clothing store in North Grafton named “Inside Outfits”.

Susan was an outgoing woman, who enjoyed entertaining with Tom, whether in Sutton, Grafton, West Yarmouth, or wherever they traveled.  Friends and family were always welcome in her home all times of the year.  She notably enjoyed the holidays the most.  The celebrations with family and friends made her happy and extremely proud.  Susan could always be found in the kitchen cooking elaborate meals for her guests.  She looked forward to the many trips and adventures that her and Tom took every year.  Aruba was her favorite destination, which they visited together every spring for many years.  Though Sue lived for and was devoted to her family, a very close second was the New England Patriots.  Every game day during football season you were sure to find her at Gillette Stadium or entertaining friends around the TV.  Anyone who watched a game with Sue, went home with many new colorful words to describe the refs who weren’t favoring the Pats.
