UPDATE – DA confirms death in Hudson shooting

Hudson – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan released this press release this morning:

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Hudson Chief of Police Michael Burks have confirmed that the woman who was shot yesterday in her vehicle on Howe Street has died. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing. However, the preliminary information indicates that this was a targeted attack.

Yesterday at approximately 2:00 p.m. police responded to a parking lot on Howe Street in Hudson for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival police located the victim, a 20-year-old female, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The woman was transported to an area hospital and then transported by medical flight to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester where she was pronounced dead early this morning.

The investigation into the incident is open and ongoing. No arrests have been made.

This incident is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Hudson Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s office.
