Shrewsbury – As a new year starts, there will also be a new face on Shrewsbury’s Council on Aging. Hollie Lucht was recently named director, taking over for Sharon Yager, who held that position for 24 years. Yager resigned in November to pursue a new job.
A resident of West Boylston, Lucht brings to the position experience in working with seniors in a variety of ways, including nurse liaison, therapy assistant and Alzheimer’s director. Her most recent positions were Director of Parks & Recreation in Princeton and Director of Council on Aging in Berlin.
