Westborough – The Beth Tikvah Community Center, 30 Oak St., Westborough, will host an introduction into the fascinating world of genealogical research, “Uncovering your Jewish (and Non-Jewish) Genealogy,” Monday, Jan. 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Presenter Jonathan Rappaport has been researching his family for over 40 years, including family originating in colonial America, Quebec, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Argentina and Lithuania as well as extended family members from the Ukraine, Poland and Galicia.

This workshop will cover the basics of how to get started, where to start looking for information, and a host of valuable websites to further your research. Actual case studies of Rappaport’s family research will be used to illustrate “brick walls” that he encountered.

Attendance is free. RSVP by Jan. 24 at BethTikvahSynagogue.org. For more information, contact EJ Dotts at 508-616-9037, ext. 700, or [email protected].
