Woman seriously injured after being hit by car in Marlborough

On Tuesday, January 14th 2020, at approximately 8:26 P.M. the Marlborough Police Department responded to several 911 calls regarding a serious motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian on West Main Street at Winthrop Street. Upon arrival with the Marlborough Fire Department, officers located a vehicle with front end damage and damaged windshield which had been travelling Eastbound. A pedestrian had been hit near the intersection and sustained serious injuries. Two dogs were also located at the scene had been struck and were killed. The female victim was treated at the scene and has been transported to the hospital for treatment. The identities of both the operator and victim are not being released. CEMLEC Accident reconstruction and Marlborough Police are investigating the accident.
