Fifth-graders at Northborough’s Lincoln Street School hold winter concert

Northborough – Fifth-graders at the Lincoln Street School held their winter concert Jan. 22, performing before a packed audience in the school’s cafeteria. The fifth-grade band was directed by Rebecca Makara and was followed by the chorus, directed by Katrina Whalen accompanied by Becky DiFiguiredio. The band’s selections included “Baa Baa Black Sheep,” “Long, Long Ago” and “London Bridge” while the chorus sang “Bring on the Snow,” an Israeli folk song called “Zum Gali Gali” and “I’ve Been Everywhere.”
