Antonio SanchesHudson – Antonio Jose Sanches, 55, of Hudson, Ma, formerly of Milford, Ma, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Framingham Union Hospital. He leaves his beloved wife Cidalia M. (Rego) Sanches.

Antonio was born on May 20, 1964 in Arcos, Portugal and immigrated to Milford, Ma with his family, where he was raised and resided for many years. He eventually settled in Hudson in 1997 with his wife, where together they raised their family. He was a talented builder, successfully owning and operating “Tony’s Building and Remodeling Service” in Hudson for many years. He was a long-time devout member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson.

Antonio had a relentless work ethic and was constantly taking new courses to expand his knowledge. Tony loved soccer and was a fierce Benfica fan. He enjoyed being at home with his family watching movies on Netflix and also loved his rottweiler and black lab mix “Max.”

In addition to his beloved wife Cidalia M. (Rego) Sanches, he is also survived by his mother Maria E. (Fernandes) Sanches; 4 children, Anthony R. Sanches of Hudson, Kassandra R. Sanches of Ft. Myers, FL, Nicole R. Sanches of Hudson and Andre R. Sanches of Hudson; 2 sisters, Angela Santos and her husband Antonio of Uxbridge and Diane Rodrigues and her husband Adailton of Milford and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Jose Sanches.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 5 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery for interment.
