Rose A. RosielloShrewsbury – Rose A. (Ricca) Rosiello, 95, lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, died Monday February 10, 2020 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester.

Rose was one of nine children born to the late Agostino and Orsola (Gargliardi) Ricca. She was educated in the Shrewsbury Public Schools, before meeting and marrying her husband, Anthony Rosiello. The pair settled in her hometown of Shrewsbury, spending many years together before his passing in 1982.

Throughout the years, Rose had worked for several manufacturing companies in the Worcester area. As a proud homeowner, Rose took great pride in meticulously maintaining her home and yard, spending many hours in her beautiful flower gardens.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Janet Trotto and her husband Anthony “Butch” Trotto of Shrewsbury; her grandson, David Papison of Shrewsbury; her sister, Jennie Rosiello of Shrewsbury; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Rose was predeceased by seven siblings, Anthony, Joseph, Rudolph, Victor, and John Ricca, Margaret Carpenter and Elvera Brote.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rose’s family between 9:00 and 11:00 AM on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be with her husband at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
