Westborough – The Rotary Club of Westborough is offering rides to the polls for residents who may need a bit of assistance this election season.
For this week’s early presidential primary election, Rotarians will pick you up and bring you to Town Hall, wait for you to vote and then bring you home.
For those who are voting on the actual election day on Tuesday, March 3, (which will be held at Westborough High School) Rotarians will once again provide rides and assistance.
If you are driving yourself to the polls or using the senior bus or transportation, Rotarians will be onsite with wheelchairs and a helping hand to make the walk from parking lot and into to the polls a bit easier.
For the town’s annual election, Tuesday, March 17, the Rotarians are also offering to help residents.. During the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then 2-4:30 p.m. a volunteer will pick you up at your door and bring you to the entrance to the polls, which will be held at the Senior Center. They will then return you to your home.
