‘Confessions of a Garden Fanatic’ presentation at Colonial Garden Club March 11

Marlborough – The Colonial Garden Club will present “Confessions of a Garden Fanatic: Still Crazy After All These Years” by Linda Lipton, certified garden designer, Wednesday, March 11, in St. Mathias Hall, 409 Hemenway St.

One of Lipton’s most recent accomplishments is the 2018 design and creation of a historical urban garden at her home in Salem. Her presentation will provide a pictorial and factual display of the garden site, its challenges including limited space, creating garden “rooms” and ensuring the new garden would be part of a total cohesive landscape. The garden was featured in the summer 2018 issue of North Shore Home magazine and her presentation will demonstrate how to maximize small spaces, include historical roots and use design elements and principles that any amateur home gardener can use.

The free presentation is open to the public and begins at 7 p.m. preceded by free refreshments and followed by the Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough March business meeting.

The club holds regular meetings on the second Wednesday of the month from September through May. Prospective members and guests are always welcome to attend. For more information, visit www.gcfm.org/colonialgardenclubofmarlborough.
