Hudson – During a recent survey of Avidia Bank employees, the bank found that over 2000 hours were spent volunteering in the community.

Employees volunteer for organizations such as Special Olympics of Massachusetts, United Way of Tri County, OUT MetroWest, Binkeez for Comfort, the Marlborough Senior Center and local Rotary Clubs, to name a few.

Many Avidia employees also sit on the committees or serve on Boards of Directors.

“At Avidia, volunteering is a big part of who we are as a community bank,” said Mark O’Connell, president and CEO of Avidia Bank. “We encourage and support employees to get involved in our community through organizations they are passionate about.”
