Hudson – Linda E. (Garceau) Josephson, 69, of Hudson, MA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Marlborough, MA.
She was born in Hudson, MA and raised in Marlborough, MA, Linda was the daughter of the late Norman and Helen (Johansen) Garceau. She was also predeceased by her sister, Carol Gaucher and survived by her brother Joseph Cusella.
In 2015, Linda retired from Price Chopper where she had worked for 16 years decorating cakes.
Linda was a cancer survivor of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
She enjoyed many things in life, such as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking trips to Canada, going camping in her camper, bird watching and feeding her flock of wild turkeys, making arts and crafts, painting landscapes and making fairy gardens, taking many trips to the Butterfly Place with her grandchildren, collecting antiques and souvenirs, tending her vegetable garden and enjoying many summers with her family on the lake in Hillsboro, NH.
She leaves three daughters, Denise Larocque of Quebec, Canada, Shannon and her husband Louis Frate II of Jupiter, FL and Crystal Josephson of Marlborough, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Steven Larocque and his partner Laura, Kenya Larocque, Raven La liberté, Lucas Larocque La liberte’, Daniel Escalante, Emily Escalante, Jonathan Escalante, Alexia Devane, Louis Frate III and Eric Frate and her great-grandchildren, Silas and Axl Larocque as well as many several and nephews. Linda had many close friends, some of her best; Donna, Patty, Cheryl, Richard and Nolberto.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 AM.
