Regenia LaneHudson – Regenia Rose (Aubrey) Lane, 91 of Hudson, MA passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, after a period of declining health. She leaves her beloved husband of 46 years, Richard T. Lane.

Regenia was born in Boston, Ma, on June 12, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph Eugene and Josephine Agnes (Blake) Aubrey. She was raised in Brighton, where she attended school. She moved to Hudson, MA in 1956, where has resided for the past 63 years. Regenia was a former member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson. She was also a member and past President of the AMVETS post 208 and a former member of the VFW 1027. Throughout the years she was very active in the local community volunteering as a Cub Scouts Den Mother as well as the Hudson CYO Royal Jades.

Regenia was a devoted homemaker and an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a diehard New England Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time at the ocean and going camping. She loved her dogs, especially “Wags” who predeceased her and Jack who will dearly miss her.

In addition to her beloved husband Richard T. Lane, she is also survived by three children, Diane M. (Svenningsen) Long of Mashpee, MA, Theodore Svenningsen of Grafton, MA and Laura J. (Svenningsen) Rogaishio of Hudson, MA; her sister, Anne T. Moore of Easton, MA; 10 grandchildren, Christine Svenningsen, Renee Smigliani, Marice Edmonds, Julie Parker, Teddy Mekel, Bekki Lawson, Adam Merkel, Mathew Connolly, Jacob Rogaishio and Bobby Doyle; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 stepchildren, Beverly DeBraga and Richard T. Lane, Jr. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Jill Grace Svenningsen.

A period of calling hours will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery for committal services.
