Westborough officials release information about servicesUpdate to come regarding town election, town meeting

Westborough – Town officials have issued a statement regarding services available in the town during the coronavirus crisis. They will also soon be releasing further information regarding the annual town election, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 and the annual town meeting, scheduled for Saturday, March 28.

The election is scheduled to be held at the Senior Center, which is closed for all other business during the crisis. There are no contested races this year so officials do not expect a heavy turnout.

They also encourage anyone who has not signed up for CODE-Red emergency alert system by calling 508-366-3040 or doing so via town.westborough.ma.us/fire-department/pages/codered-emergency-alert-system.

If you or someone you know is elderly or immunocompromised and in need of assistance to obtain groceries or other supplies, please contact the Westborough Senior Center at 508-366-3000. If you would like to volunteer to help in this effort please contact the Senior Center.

All municipal offices and the School Central Office will be closed to the public effective immediately. Residents interested in obtaining an absentee ballot may get one from the Town Clerk’s Office until Noon on March 16th.  For more information, please click here.

The Westborough Board of Health, Westborough Board of Selectmen and the Westborough School Committee met jointly on March 12, 2020 at 6:00 pm. This meeting can be viewed on WestboroughTV.
