Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Southborough
Southborough – The Board of Selectmen and town officials are providing updates when warranted on the coronavirus pandemic as warranted. The latest announcement issued March 25 reported there are two positive cases of COVID-19 for residents of Southborough.
One resident remains in a Boston hospital, and the other is under self-quarantine at home, according to a release. “Both residents were living at the same address.”
Closure updates
Board of Selectmen voted to postpone the May 12 annual town election to a date “to be determined before June 30, 2020.”
Town playgrounds and fields have been closed however, trails “on Town property are open to the public for use.” The Trottier track is open to residents for walking and jogging, “while maintaining proper social distancing” and the “Southborough Golf Club has been closed effective immediately until April 7, 2020.”

The Town Clerk is asking that all business be conducted over the phone or via mail or residents can drop-off paperwork in the town’s green mailbox near the front entrance to the Town House.
