Region – In response to the coronavirus pandemic, many people are not only worrying about the health of their families, but also the state of their finances. And although the state and federal governments have postponed the tax deadline to July 15, (from the traditional April 15), the uncertainty of the world makes things still very stressful. And with the federal government’s recently approved stimulus package, things might even feel more confusing. That’s where Integrity Tax & Business Partners can help, with a full staff of experienced tax professionals who can guide a client through the myriad of financial changes they might be experiencing, personally and professionally.

A full service tax preparation firm, Integrity prides themselves on “putting the financial pieces of your life together.” As such, they do tax preparation, tax planning, payroll, and bookkeeping from the simplest tax return to partnerships, corporation, estates and trusts.

The firm was started in 2014 by Scott Franklin, EA, JD and his wife, Yvonne.

“By starting our own firm, we are able to offer many more services, such as payroll and bookkeeping services,” Yvonne said. “Our eight partners have many combined decades of experience.”

Scott Franklin has a JD from the University of Michigan and expertise in stock options, small business tax returns, rental properties, required minimum distributions (RMD’s) from retirement investments (IRA’s, 401K’s, annuities) as well as a focus on elder care tax needs, such a gift,  trust and estate tax returns.

John Pearson is an Enrolled Agent with 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.  As an Enrolled Agent, he prides himself on resolving complex tax situations and explaining tax law in plain English.

Marc Krell has prepared over 24,000 Federal and State returns and notes on the firm’s website that he “finds the 77,000 pages of the ‘tax code’ a challenging opportunity and NOT an overwhelming obstacle.”

In fact, all of the partners are constantly educating themselves on all the different facets of the tax code so that they may advise their clients.

The firm has three locations, in Sudbury, Wellesley and Walpole, but customers don’t need to necessarily go to one of their offices because all of their services can be done remotely.

“We have customers who live out of state that have used utilized our services remotely in past years, so we have that process securely set up in place,” Yvonne said. “Customers can send us their forms in whatever way that makes them most comfortable.”

For those looking for help with their taxes, they can first call Integrity to talk to a tax professional. Then when they are ready to file their taxes they can either download to a secure smart vault, send via Federal Express, or drop it off in the firm’s secure mailboxes outside their offices.  The Integrity partner will then consult with you every step of the way before the tax forms are filed.

“We have a lot of connection point along the process, so you will always feel comfortable in knowing what is happening,” Yvonne said.

Integrity is located in Sudbury (325 Boston Post Road, 978-261-5360), Wellesley (28 Washington St., 781-772-1840) or Walpole (625 Main St., 508-921-3018).
