Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen will meet on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. to discuss the possibility of rescheduling the Annual Town Election which is scheduled for Tuesday,  May 5. Town Moderator Chris Mehne will be on hand for a joint meeting with the Board to discuss the Annual Town Meeting scheduled for Monday, May 18.

The meeting will be held via a remote format in accordance with orders given by Gov. Charlie Baker on March 12 making modifications to the state’s Open Meeting Law to allow state, quasi and local governments to continue to carry out essential functions during the COVID-19 outbreak. Boards and Committees will be able to conduct their meetings remotely.
