Northborough Police offers to help kids celebrate
The entire Cummings family enjoys Nathan’s special day.

Northborough – The Northborough Police Department knows that many members of the community, especially children, are having a difficult time with the stay at home policy during the coronavirus pandemic. As such, they are offering a way, they said on their Facebook page, to “try and payback the support we have received from the community and do what we can to help put some normalcy into peoples’ lives.”

“If you have a child at home who may have a birthday or other special day coming up please visit the department’s website page https://www.town.northborough.ma.us/police-department/webforms/request-police-cruiser-birthday-visit and request that we drive by or stop by to help brighten their day,” they added.

Nathan Cummings celebrates his birthday April 9 with a visit from Northborough’s first responders.

Request must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance. An emergency may arise and prevent the department from participating. They will confirm with a call to the requester just prior to the scheduled time that they will or will not be able to make it.
