Region –Kathy Barron, Founder, President and Principal Consultant of Accurate Resource Group, was presented with the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Business Forward Females Leadership award. The award was presented at BFF’s monthly luncheon meeting March 10 at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club.

Before Barron accepted her award, BFF co-founder Pam Sager, spoke of the many accomplishments which led the BFF judging panel to select Barron for the prestigious award.

“She is actively involved as an Ambassador for the Chamber and participates with member appreciation visits, makes new member welcome calls, volunteers her time supporting Chamber events, generously donates prizes, and is a tee sponsor of the Chamber’s our annual golf tournament that supports scholarships for graduating high school seniors,” Sager told the audience of nearly 100 women business professionals in attendance. .

“This woman leader started her own successful HR consulting firm over 30 years ago working with companies under 50 employees and everywhere between helping them with challenges in identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top performers, human resources, and growing revenues,” she added. “Her business model led to growing her business to three times the average staffing firm with one location and a stellar reputation in the Central Mass. business community.”

Barron has also worked with single mothers in need, working closely with Dress for Succes, helping “ to empower women to achieve economic independent by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life,” Sager said.

Barron will also soon be releasing her second non-fiction book, Build a Great Business…You Have to Work There Too.”
