Westborough – John P. Gorman, 61, of Westborough and formerly of Marlborough, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Marlborough on September 27, 1958, the son of the late Robert and Mary (Hinkley) Gorman. He graduated from Assabet Vocational High School, Class of 76. He was employed at PARC Apartments in Westborough as a Maintenance Supervisor and previously as a painter for over 35 years. He played in the Boston Crusaders Drum Corps International and he enjoyed his Lionel Train Sets, grilling, taking rides with his girls and walking his dog Liberty.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Leslie (Cullington) Gorman of Westborough; 3 daughters, Danielle, and her fiancé, Branden, Emily and Caroline, all of Westborough; 2 brothers, Robert Gorman and his wife Patricia of Southborough, Arthur Gorman and his wife Linda of Marlborough; 4 sisters, Nancy Bizzotto and her husband John of Fitchburg, Grace Wilson of Hudson, Mary Coles and her husband Paul of Marlborough, Ruth Devoe of Westborough and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Gorman in 2016.
A private burial will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Short & Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough is assisting with arrangements.
