Once the initial shock of the quarantine wore off, most of us were left wondering…how did things change so much…so fast?
Things that were once unheard of are the new norm…face masks, curbside delivery, social distancing and remote work. But through it all, a theme seems to be emerging…Americans are more adaptable that we may have given ourselves credit for.
Although there is far less at stake now than there was when Americans united to supply the WWII war effort, there is a bit of similarity. We have quickly accepted a new normal, we seem to be spending more time thinking of the common good and many are willing to roll up their sleeves for their neighbor.
Yes, it’s inconvenient, financially challenging, and just plain scary…but it could also be a great illustration of the things that make our country so great.
