The Rotary Club of Northborough wishes to thank all the businesses and organizations that contributed to this year’s scholarship drive.
We planned our 49th Annual Scholarship Pancake Breakfast for March 29, 2020. This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were unable to hold our event. But thanks to the generous contributions of local merchants we will be able to award the same number of scholarships as last year.
Each year the Rotary Club seeks help to support local students who are heading off to college. By purchasing an advertisement on our Scholarship Pancake Breakfast placemats, local businesses and organizations are able to give back to the community by helping create a scholarship fund for deserving Northborough students. They also receive public recognition for their support. All proceeds, less costs, go directly to scholarships that aid Northborough students in furthering their education, collectively with support from our local businesses,
The Rotary Club has awarded, over the past 49 years, scholarships totaling over a quarter of a million dollars.
Next week in this newspaper you will receive a Pancake Breakfast placemat. It is printed on two sides and lists all the businesses and organizations that contributed this year to our scholarship fund. We are so thankful for their support. Please consider visiting these businesses as they reopen.
