Region – After the Baker-Polito Administration released their details for the four part Reopening Massachusetts plan, some are understandably upset that certain types of businesses can still not re-open during the Phase 1. But as Gov. Baker has said all along, he is basing his decisions on science and data, in order to prevent a catastrophic influx of COVID-19 cases that would overwhelm healthcare facilities. It is the administration’s hope that a careful and thoughtful strategy to re-open the commonwealth will help ensure that cases of COVID-19 will continue on a downward trend.
