Region – For those who have been feeling a bit “unkempt” as they lamented their overgrown roots and shaggy hairdos over the past 2 -1/2 months, the news that hairdressers and barbershops can re-open as part of the state’s Phase 1 process is very good news indeed.
While some may question why those businesses are part of Phase 1, it should be noted that they are usually run by solo proprietors with very few employees and as such, have struggled financially during the pandemic. All salons must still follow very strict guidelines to protect not only themselves but also that of their grateful and soon-to- be stylish once again customers.
