To the Editor:
We are writing in support of Jennifer Thomas for Select Board. We have known Jen and Jim Thomas since our oldest boys played U6 soccer together. They are now graduating from Grafton High School. We have volunteered with the Thomas family as soccer and baseball coaches and as school volunteers. While we focused our efforts on Grafton Little League, Jim focused on coaching Grafton Youth Soccer and Jen began focusing on serving the community as a member of the Select Board.
We see firsthand how much Jen truly cares about the people of Grafton and how committed she is to our community. She is always looking for ways to help. She is approachable and always willing to listen and work out a solution to the issue at hand. Jen gathers information, seeks out input and weighs each decision to make sure it is in the best interest of the entire town. She is hard-working, prepared, and takes her responsibilities very seriously. We have always admired how professional and calm she remains regardless of what is going on around her.
In a time where integrity and the basic principle of treating everyone with dignity and respect despite differing opinion is harder and harder to find…. We will be voting to re-elect Jen Thomas and Donna Stock for Select Board .
