Marlborough – Andrew Desmarais joined his fellow Scouts from BSA Troop 2 Marlborough to acknowledge Memorial Day this year with socially distant salutes to fallen veterans and the playing of Taps.
Desmarais is a 2019 Eagle Scout who remains active with his Troop as a Patrol Leader and Order of the Arrow (Boy Scouts of America’s National Honor Society) Representative.
He was Troop 2’s official Bugler when he was in middle school, playing evening Taps during Troop camping trips. He is currently completing his sophomore year at Marlborough High School.
