Shiu-Ying ChangNorthborough – Shiu-Ying Lin Chang passed away peacefully in Marlborough Hospital on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, following a brief decline in health; she was 89 years old. Shiu-Ying was the devoted wife to Shiu-Chi Lin, until his passing three years ago.

Shiu-Yin was born in Luodong, Yilan County, Taiwan, a daughter to the late Chien-Ho Chang and Chu Chang Wu. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Chinese Gospel Church in Southborough.

Among Shiu-Ying’s survivors are her four beloved children, her first daughter, May Hsueh and her husband Richard Hsueh; her first son, Ginger Lin and his wife Sandy Lin; her second daughter, Stella Hshieh; her second son, James Lin and his wife Mei-Hue Lin; nine grandchildren whom she was proud of, Karissa Bennick and her husband Josh Bennick, Howie Hsueh and his wife Yuna Hsueh, Jason Lin and his wife Jenna Lin, Jean Lin, Jasper Lin, Rosie Hshieh, Joyce Hshieh, Eric Lin, and Andrew Lin; eight beautiful great-grandchildren, Jonathan Bennick, Daniel Bennick, Kaitlyn Hsueh, Caleb Hsueh, Hannah Hsueh, Jordan Lin, Mia Lin, Tifanee Lin, Sierra Lin, and Ellen Lin. Shiu-Ying also leaves many relatives and friends in her home country of Taiwan.

Funeral services for Shiu-Ying will be private, for the family. Burial will take place at a later date in Taiwan. Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough is honored to assist Shiu-Ying’s family with her arrangements.
