Listening to the data

Region – As much of the country finds itself hurtling towards a surge in coronavirus infections, Massachusetts has managed to create one of the lowest infection rates in the country allowing us to achieve pre-determined benchmarks for a safe reopening of certain businesses. For each stage, Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration has used public health data to determine if the commonwealth can move onto the next step. If things continue to move forward in a positive way and residents continue to abide by the guidelines, gyms, outdoor camps, museums and other attractions may be able to reopen as soon as July 6.
