Sheriff’s Annual Senior Picnic cancelled

Region – It is always one of the most anticipated, well-attended events of the summer season but this year Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis’ Annual Senior Picnic will not take place. The event is cancelled, of course, like so many others, due to COVID-19 restrictions and public health concerns.
“This is very disappointing news for us all but we must prioritize everyone’s safety first,” Evangelidis said. “We look forward to hosting a bigger and better Senior Picnic next year!”
