Richard F. DuvalGrafton – Richard F. “Dick” Duval, 84, passed away following a brief illness July 5, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn (Page) Duval of Grafton, his daughter Michelle Fleming also of Grafton, his son Jeffrey Duval and his wife Carmen of Barre, Elizabeth Sousa and husband Joe of Grafton, Janice O’Brien and husband Jack of Somers, CT, his sister-in-law Regina Duval of Millbury, his 5 grandchildren Sean Fleming and his fiancé Erika, Eric Fleming, Marissa Dzivasen and her husband Chet, Matthew and Zachary Duval, also 4 great-grandchildren; Hallie, Chase, Madelyn and Quinn who all adored their “Papa”. He was predeceased by Wilfred Duval, Jr., his brother.

Richard was born July 2, 1936 in Malden, MA. He was the third child of Wilfred and Exilda Duval. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1955 and enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1959.

He worked at Wyman Gordon and shortly after started working at Coca-Cola. He then found his place at CK Smith as Gasoline Manager until retiring in 1983.

Dick enjoyed sports, especially golf. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Country Club for several years. He loved to spend time with his family out by his pool, especially his grandkids. He always gave the best advice, had a great story to tell, and knew how to make everybody laugh. He will be dearly missed by all.
