Worcester – The Evershine Dental Group in downtown Worcester recently marked its one-year anniversary on May 15.  Dr. Sahana Ramos, BDS, DMD, general dentist and founder of the group, observed the occasion during the COVID-19 shut-down.

Although open during the pandemic, for emergencies only per order of the state, Dr. Ramos and her team missed their patients.

“We are now again seeing patients for cleanings, fillings, crowns and other elective procedures,” Dr. Ramos was pleased to report.

“However, coming back after 3 months was a challenge.  We needed to make sure we followed all the new protocols recommended by the CDC and OSHA and to make sure we had all the PPE needed before resuming normal operations,” she continued.

Dr. Ramos and her team provide comprehensive oral care to patients of all ages and are conveniently located at 100 Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 100, just off of I-290, with plenty of free validated parking.

With 16 years of experience, Dr. Ramos offers preventative care (oral hygiene, sealants, fluoride, periodontal therapy, nightguards  and athletic mouthguards;) cosmetic and restorative care (crowns, porcelain veneers, bridges, implants and whitening and complete and partial dentures;) selected surgical and endodontic procedures as well as general check-ups, x-rays, and cleanings.

Patients are greeted by a friendly staff and the waiting area is brightly lit and comfortably appointed. Patients can expect an experience with state of the art technology and the latest advancements by a caring team in a comfortable setting.

“It is very important to me to make my patients feel comfortable and at ease,” stated Dr. Ramos. “We want to remove the anxiety from the dental experience.”

The practice is well managed by Patricia LaMonda and includes three registered dental hygienists who have years of expertise.  She also has an endodontist and periodontist/implant specialist on her team so she is able to provide for most of her patients’ needs.

“We want to make dentistry convenient for our patients without compromising the quality of their care,” Dr. Ramos explained.

Prior to opening Evershine Dental she practiced in Worcester and Greater Boston, notably Massachusetts General Hospital.

The American Dental Association, International Team for Implantology, Academy of General Dentistry and the Massachusetts Dental Society are among her many professional affiliations.

Keeping current with continuing education courses and the latest advances in dentistry are team priorities.

The Evershine Dental Group is welcoming new patients and accepts most major insurance plans. American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Discover and CareCredit are also accepted.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
