Westborough – The Westborough Athletic and Social Association (WASA) would like to remind all Westborough students entering their sophomore year in college that they are eligible to apply for a $1500 Returning College Sophomore Scholarship.
Every year WASA offers three scholarships to college students – two for graduating High School seniors (Founders Scholarship) and one for a student that has already completed their freshman year in college.
Applications can be found at www.westboro.org and should be submitted by the Friday, July 31 deadline.
Since 1935, WASA has been dedicated to supporting Westborough youth in their academic and athletic endeavors. Over the last 10 years WASA has donated over $100,000 to support local youth including providing $30,000 in college scholarships to Westborough High School students. In addition, WASA also raises funds and contributes resources to a number of other programs including the Westborough Food Pantry, Project Graduation, Special Olympics, and many Westborough youth athletic programs.
