Their hopes
Their dreams
Freedom
That’s why Rosa Parks sat on the bus
That’s why we walk through the streets
With our hands up to the sky
They tell us to stand down
But instead,
We all stand up
As we put our fist to the sky
Shots fly toward us
This is why we fight
For freedom
The war was never over
We will fight to the end
It takes old people’s wisdom
Young people’s passion
That will flow through us
Till the end
One day when the war is done
One day when the war is won
One day we will be one country
One united nation
One day.
