Westborough – The nonprofit group Fishing with Warriors, Inc. will be hosting its annual golf tournament fundraiser on Monday, Aug. 24 at Highfields Golf & Country Club, 42 Magill Drive, Grafton.
Registration/coffee and pastries will be from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. There will then be a shot gun start at 10 a.m. Cost is $200 per golfer.
The event includes: 18 holes, cart, outdoor barbecue for golfers, prizes, auction and raffle.

Fishing for Warriors was founded and is now led by former service members Al Lizotte, Paul George, Denzil Drewry, and Bob Hunt. The nonprofit organization offers veterans, the chance to escape their worries for a bit and do such things as go on a destination fishing trip, attend last day of the U.S. Open golf championships, or attend a major league championship playoff game, at no cost to the veteran.
