Mayor seeks to fill board and commission vacanciesMarlborough – Mayor Arthur Vigeant is again appealing to city residents to submit their name for a variety of openings on city boards and committees. Through the mayor’s previous outreach efforts to involve more residents in city government, many voices were brought to the table and are now serving on one of several boards and committees throughout the city.

New applicants are being sought for the Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Board Commission on Disabilities, Council on Aging and Marlborough Cultural Council, among others.

Residents are asked to email a cover letter and resume summarizing their experience and particular committee or board interests to the Mayor’s Executive Aide Nathan Boudreau at [email protected]. Applicants may also mail information to: Office of the Mayor, Attn: appointments, 140 Main Street – 4th Floor, Marlborough, MA 01752.
