Region – If brown lawns and low water levels are any indicator, it’s no surprise that local towns are issuing drought warnings.
Recently, state officials declared Massachusetts to be at a Level 2 – Significant Drought. As such, residents are urged to practice water conservation, especially as the fall months are normally the driest months of the year. And, although we do not have the same types of conditions that the western states face, dry conditions are often a concern for brush fires.
