Michael J. MaroneyMarlborough – Michael J. Maroney of Marlborough, died on Saturday, September 12, 2020 after suddenly being stricken ill at his home. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Diane and James Maroney of Marlborough.

Michael was a gentle giant with a huge personality that captivated anyone around him and loved to protect and care for anyone close to him.

Mike was a graduate of Marlborough High School and earned his electrical license from New England Technical Institute. He was a successful electrician/supervisor and took a lot of pride in his work. He had a great passion for life and wanted to be apart of everything.  Mike loved his rides on his Harley, playing golf, snowboarding, boating on Lake Winni, jet skiing and the many family vacations. He was a humble person with a big heart who made an impact on many in his life and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother David and wife, Katarina; his niece Alyssa, nephews Andre and Anthony; his Fiancé Kimberly Howard and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Due to the Covid -19 pandemic there was a private funeral Mass with extended family held on Wednesday, September 16 with a burial at Southborough Rural Cemetery.
