Hudson – Kathryn E. Delaney, 63, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2020, at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, after a short battle with cancer.
Kathryn was born in Marlborough, MA on January 13, 1957, daughter of the late Francis X. and Pauline M. (Dwyer) Delaney. She was a life-long resident of Hudson. She attended Christ the King and St. Michael’s elementary schools, and was a 1975 graduate of Hudson High School. Kathryn worked locally for many years in various occupations, most recently as a Hostess. She was a long-time parishioner at Saint Joseph the Good Provider Church in Berlin, MA.
Kathryn enjoyed recreational dance and collecting dolls. She also enjoyed intelligent conversation and debate.
Kathryn is survived by her brother, Timothy F. Delaney and his wife Joanne of Clermont, FL; a sister-in-law, Anne Delaney and 6 nieces and nephews: Christine Delaney, Stephen Delaney, Kevin Delaney, Renee, Nicole and Denise. She was also predeceased by her brother, Michael J. Delaney. She enjoyed many happy times with her cousins in the Hudson-Marlborough area.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later time. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with her funeral arrangements.
