Westborough Police charge Worcester man with alleged armed burglaryWestborough – The Westborough Police Department released this statement this afternoon:

On Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at approximately 1:30AM. Officers from the Westborough Police Department responded to the 7000 Building of Homestead Blvd for a reported Breaking & Entering in progress. Moments later the calling party reported the suspect who was masked and wearing dark clothing was now inside her apartment and engaged in a physical confrontation with her adult son. During the altercation, the son received bite wounds to the chest and thigh area. The victim’s son was able to fight off the attacker who fled the scene as Officers arrived. Officers from Westborough, Southborough, Hopkinton, along with Massachusetts State Police K9 and Westborough’s Drone Unit assisted with a sweep of the area for the suspect with negative findings.

After a brief investigation, the suspect was identified as Mr. Pierre Glover of Worcester. Westborough Police Officers were able to determine Mr. Glover is known to both victims. As a result of the investigation Mr. Glover was placed under arrest. Glover was arraigned at Westborough District Court on charges of Armed Burglary, Assault & Battery, Mayhem, Wanton Destruction of Property and Malicious Destruction of Property. Mr. Glover’s bail was set at $5000. Any questions can be directed to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
