Region recovers after severe storm

Region  – An intense storm sent snapped trees and tree branches onto cars, homes, and power lines across the region, Oct. 7.

In Westborough, police shared a photo on Facebook of a power transformer that had fallen onto a street and started a fire. Elsewhere, CA readers showed us photos of trees on houses and even woven between power lines.

In Grafton, one woman’s photo showed a car that had been particularly badly damaged by a falling tree.

In Northborough, meanwhile, CA readers Carol Chione and Russell Lang shared still more photos of roadways blocked by debris.
