Shrewsbury – The sky was appropriately overcast and a bit spooky on Oct. 24 when over 150 little ghouls and goblins, witches, superheroes, athletes and cartoon characters descended upon Lake Street Park  to “Trick or Treat”. Kids also enjoyed a fun holiday themed book: “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson, along the StoryWalk®.

Library staff was dressed for the occasion in festive Halloween style and handed out goodie bags filled with an assortment of Halloween-themed treats. There was hand sanitizer at the ready and all families were socially distant for the event.
