Northborough – Boros Cares 4 Troops (BC4T), a Northborough-based nonprofit group, will be hosting a small parade on Sunday, Nov. 8 to honor the town’s veterans. The event will start at 12 p.m. at the Vincent F. Picard American Legion post 234, 402 West Main St. and travel down Main Street. The cars will begin at the American Legion and travel to Memorial field. The Northborough community is encouraged and invited to line up on Route 20 and cheer on these local Veterans.

The group has placed over 90 banners along Main Street honoring its veterans and active military members through an initiative, “Hometown Heroes.” Normally the town holds Veterans Day commemorations but this year that was not possible due to COVID-19 concerns. So the parade will be a safer alternative instead.

On its website, BC4T noted that “With close to 100 banners at a cost of $300 each, we are looking to our community for help. We will continue to accept new applications for banners to be displayed in Fall 2021.”

“If you are able to donate (donations are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 organization), any amount is greatly appreciated.

“If you work for a company that matches donations or know a company looking to donate to a good cause please let us know,” the website noted.

Donations can be made at www.bc4t.org or checks made payable to BC4T P.O.Box 304
